Tell us about a challenge in life?
Jessica_fox:
The greatest challenged I faced in life was cutting my hair, and planning football in 8th grade for my mother's ultimatum. As a Native American, I began growing my hair when I was 7 years old. She asked me to cut my hair and play a season, after I told her I wanted to be a woman. She respectful inclined to my wishes. However, she wanted me to be her son for one football season, as she know she would never have him again. I am truly grateful for what she had asked. Cutting my hair was one of the worst feelings in my life, yet I knew this was the one and only way to become the woman I wanted to be. Joining football also helped me gain important life skills. It taught me to overcome uncomfortable situations and helped me build strengths (mentally and physically), I never knew I had. Once I had finished the season, I began the short process of growing my hair back again. And, as promised, my mother helped me grow into the beautiful woman I am today. Without this part in. my life, I don't think I be here or be who I am today. Sometimes you just have to have the courage to do things in life. Even if you don't want to.

What are your greatest professional strengths?
Jessica_fox:
I joined a league of pioneering trans women, whom changed the face of the adult industry, some decade and a half ago. Once, this industry was a taboo or seen as a forbidden no mans land. What we did lead to great change that has benefited all walks of life and made it safer for all trans people alike. It now has become mainstream and social acceptable to great extents. And, we are not done. Once what was only done behind closed doors or behind computer screens, is now everywhere today in public as it should be. I hated when people once called us, fantasies... We are not fantasies, we are human beings just like you and everyone else. Our hearts beat like my native drums that is like the heart beat of Mother Earth.

What do you like to do in your free time?
Jessica_fox:
In my free time, I love to learn via books or documentaries about history, science, and philosophy. I also, love to educate people about my own culture. The more the world knows, the more knowledgeable we are. Crushing stereotypes of Native people is one thing I feel that is important. Advocating for Native rights and issues is another social platform I feel is my calling. I also love to travel. I can't not sit in one place too long. It is in my genes to be nomadic, as my people were as we crossed the Bering Strait, tens of thousands of years ago, before we settle in the Colorado Plateaus. My curiosity of the world and the people and cultures whom live on it will never fully be explored.
