Looking for a new home

I'm currently traveling around the west Coast Canada, im trying to find a place where i feel well, Quebec wasn't it for me.
Im starting to struggle a little bit moneywise, because bank wont give loan to self employed person for a mortgage.
Currently im looking for a place to rent near Vancouver, but with a small french bulldog it's really hard. Most of the landlord ask for a 4 to 6 month deposit which is 6 000 $ to 9 000 $ upfront payment which I don't have.
Im working hard to find solution to be able to be settled and start living again.
